Stockholm by Leigh Lennon is
a unique and complex story that is fresh in its telling. It takes you on
a mystery ride that weaves intrigue and suspense in the story and what a story
it is. The story flashes back and forth from past to present –from dark to
light – with so many twists and turns that will have your heart bursting with
all that goes down. I found this to be a really fresh twist on a hostage story.
I don’t want to give any spoilers away so what I will do is tell you that the
love story is amazing and Leigh Lennon is a new author for me but she is
now an auto buy because I loved Stockholm.
I felt so many amazing emotions in this read, I was on an emotional
rollercoaster, not knowing how or when I would get off but OMG when I did I was
exhilarated and felt set free. Not all emotions left me feeling free , some left
me freefalling , but in a good way. This was an exhilarating read—Just know this
Book is about a girl who wakes up in a place and doesn’t remember at all
how She got there. Her captor is someone she doesn’t know yet he gives her pieces of the events that
lead her with him. His only agreement is to stay with him for 6 months and then
he will let her go back to her loving family. Oh I cant give away any
more because it could lead to spoilers but just know this is a dark romance ,
one where its enemies to lovers type story and it is HOT. The captor isn’t a
bad guy, he really is a good guy and the girl, oh she doesn’t understand and
she is so mad to be taken from all she knows. This story definitely has the
feels. You have a psychological read, one that has dark romance, humor, suspense,
intrigue, romance, and true love. This is a Definitely A MUST READ BOOK!!!
