Oh yes, I loved this story. This is Jason’s story and I was excited to read about the redhead who broke his heart.  Maddy Summers was the girl who broke Jason Caro’s heart 10 years before and left town is back in town 10 years later. She was his BFF and first love. Yet don’t expect him to throw her a party and roll out the welcome mat just yet. There is a lot of pent up anger over how she left. Jason has had a really bad time of it since Maddy left- crazy exes, injuries, and accidents plus thrown in Max and his crazy schemes.  When you read why Maddy left town, she isn’t a bad person. She is really a nice woman and is still the right person for Jason. There was miscommunication and some misunderstandings between her and Jason. Yet she is back in town and she knows from the moment she sees Jason, he is still the love of her life. Can these two people get their love life back on track and realize they are still the right ones for one another ? Or will they continue to make the same mistakes that kept them apart for 10 years? This book was fantastic, with previous characters making appearances (  Colt,  Milo, Reid,  and of course crazy Max) then add in the steam factor between Jason and Maddy- they still have that instant connection and sizzle. This has the humor, the wackiness, the angst , the drama and definitely the 2^nd time romance factor- you never know what you get when you throw Jason and the gang together. It is a fantastic time watching Jason and his lost love Maddy reconnect. If you love the Consequence series, this is a great addition to said series.
