This is an romantic suspense read that is full of action. I was enthralled with all that was going on from the very beginning until the very last word that is how electrifying this story was. "Panic & Passion" is a fast-paced, contemporary romance story that edges into the romantic suspense category with all that goes on in this book. There is much drama, angst, action and suspense to keep a reader entertained. Susan is an attorney and Jake is the FBI agent who is trying to keep her alive. Their chemistry is intense…this story is intense. It is full of twists and turns that I never saw coming. Jake is one man I would trust to guard me in a heartbeat for he is quite the dominating force he portrays while Susan is strong and independent and when these two come together-watch out. Fast paced, compelling and steamy make for a fantastic read by Vella Day. I really enjoy her new series and look forward to reading book 2 in the series.
