This is a fun, heartwarming, sexy and sweet romance read. This series just gets better and better with each book. With Impact, we have a book filled with Greek-family style humor, laughter and banter that is designed to leave a smile on your face while at the same time get you hooked into the plot of the story. The book does have a layer of sadness and hopelessness which makes me root for the heroine who has had a pretty hard life thru no fault of her own. Katy and Bee are amazing! The perfect mother / daughter combo , they brought a smile to my face and they really shined thru when things were rough for them. All of the hardships and tragedy that Katy had faced in her life and while raising Bee, she totally rocked being a mother. Bee was just the sweetest, cutest kid that I have read of late. Damon pretty much was the perfect hero in this story and yes, there was times when he did things wrong but he totally redeemed himself. He is super sexy and is a total good guy extraordinaire. Katy and Damon made the perfect couple. The chemistry between Katy, Bee and Damon just shines throughout the book and made me root for them immediately and practically yell at my kindle that nothing happen to derail them but as you know, this is a romance novel and there is a bad guy and well, things happening to derail Katy and Damon. Katy and Damon are both keeping secrets and Katy has trust issues, its her hot button and it is completely understandable but yea, that sets things into motion when she finds certain things out. Will Katy ever forgive Damon? Will Damon wise up and go after Katy? OMG this is a must read!!!
