OMG, I loved Playing with Fire. It is the second book in the Tangled in Texas series and I absolutely adored it.  Anna Weber is every inch of the young , proper, virginal librarian that you had when you were young. She dresses very prim and proper but she has flaming RED hair that shows she has hidden passions underneath. Anna wants to spend time with her friends before she has to go far away—Ms. Anna has somewhat of a fire about her and is very brave. She is a true heroine in this story. She is sweet but a bit sassy at times. Oh and she gives as good as she gets--There is a huge mystery that is around Anna-and because of this, Anna thinks she has to go away . Now the hero is one ALPHA—and OMG- its COWBOY- y’all will remember him from book 1 in in Rules of Protection. I was super excited when I heard this was his story. What a great stepbrother story- Leah doesn’t know that her dad’s new wife’s son is her childhood bully. When she finds out , she is shocked but even more so when she learns she has to share the home with him while their parents are off honeymooning. Leah doesn’t know how to take David who now goes by Threat and oh boy is he- a tall, and handsome threat to her sanity. I found Leah to be a bookworm, a lot into books and sort of an introvert while David is an extrovert. The story really gets going when they ended up having to take a trip. On this trip, we get to see Leah relax and open up ( courtesy of Threat) and she starts to think maybe things have changed. There are so maybe emotional twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. Oh the games they played were oh so good, loved it. Out of the Blue is book 2 in the Bama book series. We have a terrific story told in dual POV which is great because we get the main characters POV. This is Mike and Molly's story. I am so glad that Mike’s story was next up because in the last book, his story was calling out to be told. In this book, Mike is back working for Lia, who is married to his best friend Nate. Reeve Holloway-well, Mister Sexy Pants Lawyer who is working on the same case as Leary. He is the opposing counsel & defends big companies and doesn’t really see where Leary is coming from.
