Sarah Curtis has written an amazing and beautiful romance story that will have you enthralled from start to finish. This story is sure to knock the skirts off you because it is so steamy and full of intrigue, drama, miscommunications, sexy times, scary moments ,some sad times, suspense and ultimately Love.
Nate Reed and Victoria Lee meet on the set up a movie that they will be co-starring in. Nate is a well-established actor, known as one of America's biggest heartthrob actor while Victoria is an up and coming actress who gets her big break on this film. Her mother was a very famous actress, who retired after she had Victoria, so she grew up in the public eye. Victoria is old family friends with Alec, the hero from book 1 in this series “The Gamblers”. The chemistry between Nate and Victoria on and off screen is hard to miss and hard to deny. Nate knows Victoria is the one for him pretty much off the bat. He immediately sets out wooing her but Victoria isn’t so sure things will work out- you know, because they are in Hollywood. She is jaded because she has seen that Hollywood relationships don't often work out. Still Nate doesn’t let her deter him and they find their connection is strong and that chemistry is intense. Soon they are dating but someone doesn’t want Victoria even around Nate and things start happening to drive her off. There are many twists and turns in the story that kept me glued. I love Nate- he is an alpha, dominant male –he is so sweet and loving when it comes to Victoria. If you cross him when it pertains to her, woe be to you. Victoria really was one sassy, sweet woman who knew what she wanted and she wanted a career but she also wanted Nate. Their love was strong, fun and sexy. The one liners that Victoria and Nate come up with are fabulous and fit this story and the characters themselves. Oh and just wait for the epilogue. This is what an epilogue looks like!! Ms. Curtis has done a right proper job writing this book and I can’t wait to read what she writes next.
