This book is the second one in the series Rose and Thorn. It just keeps getting better and better. It is dark and delicious, intense and steamy…Just the kind of read that sucks you in and keeps you addicted until the very last word on the page.
Harlow/Rose is now settling into her position as Thorn's favorite. But Thorn is holding back and on top of his issues, Pia is such a bitter witch which means she looks for ways to cause problems for Rose and Thorn—she is even trying to get between them and bringing others into the mix to cause hate and discontent. While Rose is falling in love with Thorn to the point of addiction, she is also afraid of the feelings he provokes in her and then she wants to run away from all that makes her feel. Rose and Thorn’s relationship isn’t built on rainbows but on darkness- theirs is a twisted relationship. You can feel the love Thorn has for Rose but its all tangled up in the maelstrom of emotions that he has. Thorn is still as dominant and controlling as ever. There was A LOT that happened in this story- one moment I am rooting for them and in the next I am terrified what will happen next between them and hoping Rose does break away from the madness that is occurring. Pia and Carina- terrible witches who deserve to burn. Enough Said. Will Pia and Carina be able to do away with Rose or will Thorn be able to save her in time? This unique , dark romance ends on a cliffhanger note and I am dying to read book 3. Fawn Bailey has done it again and written a story that shows the dark side of obsession, love, anger, betrayal and jealousy that will keep the reader on the edge of their seat literally until the very end of the read. So many twists and turns in this book which is amazing and as I have said, I am dying to find out what happens in Last Broken Rose which is book 3 in the series.
