Truth or Dare by Cynthia Dane is a romantic suspense read that will definitely keep the readers on their toes and hooked from start to finish . Maria is a single mother who works multiple jobs to take care of her son and give him the best life. Her husband was murdered in a drive by 7 years before and now her husband’s best friend is back in town. Gabriel was Maria's husband best friend and made a promise that day her husband died to keep Maria and Rodney safe by marrying her. He is back now to keep Maria and her son safe plus fulfill the promise he made. There is many twists in this story that will keep the reader on pins and needles. I loved the passion and angst, the chemistry and suspense, the twists and turns, the danger and secrets—all of it made for great reading. What an awesome read.
