“Make love to me.”
“Plannin’ on it.” Pushing up from the bed, I kick off my
shoes and slip her sandals from her feet. Her eyes follow my every move.
Careful not to lift my left arm too high, I reach behind my head and pull my
shirt off. When I reach for my sweats, she sucks in a sharp breath, her eyes
glued to my cock as I let my pants fall to the floor.
“Your turn.” I crawl onto the bed, her eyes searing through
me. When I undo the button of her shorts, she lifts her hips, allowing me to
pull them off, along with her white cotton panties. Sitting up, she reaches for
the bottom of her shirt, lifts it over her head, and flings it off to the side.
“You are so beautiful, Mo.”
The last time I looked down at her like this, sprawled out
in front of me, I was too young to appreciate her—too young to understand the

a fantastic book with a hot bull rider book boyfriend. Yee-haw! Rhett Allen is
a champion bull rider who has it all. Then he is injured and has to return home
to Heaven after 6 years to recuperate when he has to face his past
finally. Monroe “Mo” Gallagher was the love of his life. She never left
town due to her dad and needing to take care of him. Things happened between
these young lovers that caused Monroe to cause him to leave. She had to because
he had dreams that needed to be lived and Monroe couldn’t leave so she did what
she thought he wanted. Monroe has made
sure to stay busy after the love of her life up and left. Oh she has kept track
of her lost love but with everything on her plate, she has tried to let her
life go on as best as she possibly could. She is the sweetest woman ever
written, and she has a heart of gold. Monroe has only been surviving on half a
heart. Now that Rhett is back in town, she is wondering what will happen
between them. She knows she needs to tell him the truth , be honest about why
she really ended their relationship. Only thing is, will Rhett allow her to get
close enough to explain? Or will Monroe continue to live with the
heartbreak and regret forever ?
This story has all the feels.
It really grabs you from the first page and just hooks you . The main characters
and their story will grab your heart. We get who the characters are-- Monroe is a sweet, somewhat naïve and sassy
woman and Rhett is rugged, reckless , sexy and cocky. Cocky especially when it
comes to his career. We see Rhett with
his broken heart but look out for Rhett when things really heat up and things
are better because he is sexy cowboy Rhett—whoa, he is outta any woman’s league
but Monroe’s. Rhett acted at times bad to Monroe but don’t give up on him.
There is a pivotal moment in this book that allows Rhett to redeem himself.
There is twists and turns which makes this a must read romance. This story which is a perfect exs to lovers
has it all- drama, angst, passion, heartbreak, hope, romance and ultimately
true love. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series which looks to be
Claire’s book.
