Here is another great read by Vivian Wood. It is a 2nd chance romance type story with a twist. Effie and King were each other's first loves years before, when things were pure and good until something happened and they ended up broken up and out of each other’s orbit only to find their way back years later.
Effie is now a college student and young vet tech. She ended up dating and becoming engaged to Thorne, King’s brother but ended things when he stepped out on her. She was hurt by his actions and she escapes to the family cabin to be alone to think. Only thing is, King is at the cabin too. She didn’t know and its too late to leave because of a massive winter storm. Whats going to happen next? Where will she go? Can she even be in the same room with the original man who broke her heart?
King is a man who is haunted by the love who broke his heart, by the woman he loved and lost. Now he is trapped inside the family cabin with said woman. Will they be able to resolve their past issues and deal with things that were left unsaid or will this further push them apart? This is one intense and angst ridden 2nd chance romance I have read by Ms. Wood. To know if they get the HEA denied them years before, you need to read this awesome read. You will love the steamy, sizzling read .
