Filthy Fight by Alta Hensley My rating: 5 of 5 stars The 2nd book in the Hard n’ Dirty series is such a definite TKO. This is one story that will have you holding your breath and also needing a fan due to the heat. This is an emotional, unique, soul searching and touching story of two people who didn't know that they needed one another and then when they did realize it, they fought that forbidden desire hard. For they came into each others lives right when they each had some pretty rough things happening -- they both need each other for certain reasons that become evident. What I enjoyed is that I'm not a sports fan and Ms. Hensley had me totally enjoying this sports romance. Mateo and Julep had this angsty, steamy, sort of dark, intense relationship going from the start which made for a awesome read. Her Paradise by Alexa Riley My rating: 5 of 5 stars This is book 2 in the duo and we get Sammy's story. Sammy is Nikki’s best friend(we got Nikki's story in bk 1) and Cyrus is the town sheriff. This books starts with a angsty prologue about a 16 year old Sammy crushing on her brother's military friend Cyrus. He lets her know they can’t be together because of her age which unfortunately she does not handle well--- fast forward about 6 years and she’s still not handling it well. What is awesome is how Cyrus never gave up on his "Little Sunshine". When the time was right, Cyrus made his move. Sammy never quit loving him. Their steamy and sweet love story is a classic AR read. This was hot, sexy and fun. I liked how both stories intermixed and how in the epilogue gave way for more stories to be told. Royally His by Gigi Thorne My rating: 5 of 5 stars Royally His had my heart beating super fast from all the steam and sizzle that Prince Amir and Maya fire up when they are together. Prince Amir meets Maya one night at a club where they have this unbelievable experience and he think he will never see her again. Maya has the same experience but feels abandoned when he disappeared right after their beautiful time together. These two do end up coming face to face the next day and sparks still do fly between them. Maya didn't know Amir was a royal and Amir was just scratching an "itch" but they both realize that what they had together was magical and different... can they make things work ? Do they even want to ? How is a connection between a royal and a commoner going to work out…? Vengeance by Kathy Coopmans My rating: 5 of 5 stars What a deliciously dark and gritty book!! What started out as such a dark and shocking read ended up to be one of the best books I’ve read this year. Ms. Coopmans' writes such amazing main characters and I know for sure Cade and Ivy’s story will stay with me for a good long while, just like her other stories. I have to say this read is one of my top favorites from her. This is a gritty, dark, hard, delicious and dirty read. OMG this book has about everything you would want in a dark romance read: suspense, revenge, love , heartbreak, and hot sizzle. I sat down and read this book in 1 sitting-like didn't get up until completely done until the epic showdown took place and everything wrapped up. His Paradise by Alexa Riley My rating: 5 of 5 stars This new series from AR is absolutely amazing. His Paradise is quite the wonderful heat and soul Insta love connection between the main characters - Liam and Nicole. This story will have you feeling all tingly inside over the hero and his swooning ways. This story has several twists that will have you rooting for Liam and Nicole. Liam is quite the perfect AR alpha hero, full of alphabets and swagger. Nicole is full of light, sweetness and innocence- quite the combo for these two and yes, I adored the naughtiness and sizzle in this story- the start to this duo is kickstarted right.
