Dirty Working Hero by Penny Wylder My rating: 4 of 5 stars Dirty Working Hero by Penny Wylder is a fast paced, sizzling and quick novella read that takes the reader into on a feelgood romance with Hardin and Millie. It's a bit of a modern day retelling twist of the Romero and Juliet storyline but with Hardin and Millie. I liked how they showed how Millie waa struggling, was getting her hands "dirty" all while trying to find out who she was , what her dreams were, at the same time. The chemistry between Hardin and Millie just sizzles off the pages. This really was a quick read but yes, sparks fly and the chemistry between them is intensely hot. Southern Sinner by Jessica Peterson My rating: 4 of 5 stars Southern Sinner is book 3 in the North Carolina Highland series by Jessica Peterson. This is Hank and Stevie's story. This is a older woman-younger man /fake relationship romance. I really liked the chemistry between Hank and Stevie. He was such a southern man- sweet, alpha and sexy. Then you take Stevie whose this take charge , independent, sassy woman. Oh yes, sparks fly! Theirs was this instant chemistry/connection/lust which develops into more. They each have fears that prevented them from embracing the magic and beauty of their relationship. What did start out as fake , blazed into reality but Stevie wonders if he is playing a game or is truly in it, like her, and involved for real. The chemistry and steamy scenes definitely show how real things got between Hank and Stevie. Do they end up with a HFN ending? You have to experience this story to find out ❤. Hard Working Hero by Penny Wylder My rating: 4 of 5 stars Hard Working Hero by Penny Wylder is a sweet, romantic, funny read with main characters that draw you in and have you invested in their love story.
