Wrangled is the second book in the Steele Ranch Series by Vanessa Vale. Each book can be read as a standalone. Penelope aka Penny has always lived her life by everyone else's rules. She constantly tried to fit into her family but always felt like an outcast. Penny is the second daughter to come to Aiden Steels ranch. Although her mother is a congresswomen who comes from money, Penny doesn’t care about money at all. All she really wants is to meet someone who wants to settle down and have a whole lot of kids. So she gets away from her mother’s overbearing presence and heads to Barlow Montana to claim her portion of the Steele Ranch fortune after she graduates with her degree.

It at the ranch where her life changes; she finally feels like she fits in and isn’t an outcast for once in her life and things start to make sense as to why she never fit in with her family. Also she meets Jamison and Boone and the chemistry between them lights up the pages. The sexual tension is intense and the connection is immediate. Jameson is the Foreman on Steele Ranch and Boone is a doctor in town. They noticed Penny on her first day at the ranch and they had a plan to make her theirs. I loved how they wooed and courted Penny. Their love story was beautifully told and the passions shared between the three were fantastically written. I couldn’t get enough of the passion, the heat between the three. Now with this being a novella, the storyline moved pretty fast and was wrapped up fairly quick. If you like steamy erotic reads with a great plot, then you will want to read Ms. Vale’s latest in her Steele Ranch series.
