Title: Push & Pull ( The Broadway Series #5)
Author: Allie York
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Beck Layton is a horrible person. Everyone knows it, especially him. Every day is a challenge to forget the past, to dull the pain. After blacking out and waking up in a seedy hotel with women he doesn’t remember, Beck decides maybe his life isn’t worth it. Just before he makes his decision final, he finds someone who needs him. She needs saving but may end up rescuing him instead.
Allie is a mom, wife, and dog groomer by day. At night she is posted on her laptop writing contemporary romance. She has a soft spot for gooey romance, over-creamed coffee, and anything cute and furry.
***** MY REVIEW *****
Push & Pull by Allie York is the 5th book in her Broadway Series. I loved LOVED LOVED Meredith and Beck's story a lot. We finally get Beck’s turn to get his story told and his love interest Meredith fits him like a glove. She has had some pretty rotten things happen to her yet she didn’t let it defeat her, she only grew stronger from it. Her boyfriend is one sorry piece of work, I will say that!! Im glad that she decided that enough was enough and left him. Meredith is what helped to shape Beck and even though he was reforming, Meredith helped him totally reform and become the great man we fall totally in love with. He is honest, more caring and takes responsibility for his actions compared to the past. Oh and he was so overprotective of Meredith. She needed someone to want to take care of her, to really worry about her for once and that is what she got with Beck. Their story had several major twists and turns, and there was angst, drama, and yes, passion and love. I really love the Broadway Series with each and every character that is introduced. This story had me reaching for tissues and also applauding the total redo of Beck’s personality. All I want to say is you do not want to miss this book in the Broadway Series. Their love is exciting, honest, and beautiful—the bad boy gone good for the love of a good woman.
My Rating: 4.6 stars *****
