ARC Review of Forgetting You, Remembering Me (Memories From Yesterday, #2) by Monica James

Forgetting You, Remembering Me (Memories From Yesterday, #2)Forgetting You, Remembering Me by Monica James
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Forgetting You, Remembering Me (Memories from Yesterday #2) by Monica James- The Memories from Yesterday duet will go down as one of my all-time favorite duets EVER!!! Monica James really just exceeded herself with this storyline. I went thru multiple boxes of tissues just reading these two books in this duet.
When it comes to book 2 specifically Monica James outdid herself. The story is at times heartbreaking, angsty, passionate and hopeful. I literally felt like I was right in the middle of the characters’ lives and was living, breathing their every emotion, feeling as I read the story. The love triangle situation is one that might come off as crazy but here in this duet, it truly feels so believable and real and heartbreaking. Lucy is one amazing character because she never set out to hurt anyone- she was the one who was hurt yet everything that happened, was because of what originally happened to her and yet she was having to live with her choices. Did she make the right choice ? Was she sure she chose the right brother? Lucy is such a strong personality in this story and yet she was so vulnerable and in pain. She came across as real – I felt so bad for her, I literally wanted to hug her, protect her from the pain she was enduring. That is how much I loved this character. She hadn't done anything wrong and was facing such a terrible heartbreaking situation. There is so much that happens in this story – I do not want to give any spoilers away but I can say you will literally lose breath and do some hard praying at certain times in this book. You will face more heartbreak, angst, pain, hopelessness, tension, passion, hopefulness, and love…definitely love. But before we get to the love, there will be tons of angst. Saxon –OMG I just love him and never stopped. Sam, well, I am on the fence about how I feel about him. As for Saxon and Sam’s parents. I never warmed up to them and wish bad things on them. So who does Lucy end up with? Sam or Saxon? In order to find out, you need to read this fabulous, fascinating, heartbreaking, enticing love story. This is one book, one duet that you will not forget for a long while. The message that the author subtly wrote is well received and I have to say this is a must must MUST read. Its sheer brilliance and Powerfully intense writing that will linger over the sheer perfection.

My Rating: 4.9 stars *****
