This is Book 5 in the seduction and sin series by Bella Love-Wins. This is Rose and Caleb’s beautiful 2nd chance love story. Their story isn’t an insta-love, it slowly builds and their love story has a rocky past. 8 years before Caleb wronged Rose and never made amends. Caleb and Rose have known each other for years, but after the unfortunate incident tore them apart, Rose never wanted to think about Caleb again after what happened. Forward 8 years later and Rose is working at the Levine Holdings as an unpaid intern because they said it would look good on her work resume. Caleb crosses paths with Rose again and he needs her help to find anything that would incriminate Levine's in the handling of an account they are trying to broker. The spark is still there between them but it is marred by bitterness on Rose’s end and Caleb’s feelings of guiltiness. Can this couple work thru the problems from their past and come out on top or will the past consume them and ruin their present and future?
I didn’t like Caleb at first and felt so bad for Rose but slowly I warmed up to this great 2nd chance love story. It was a quick and sexy read. I was glad I got to see previous characters pop up in this book , though I do wish the ending was not as rushed. Overall, this was a good read.
