The Baby Maker Lili Valente
is the story of Emma Haverford and Dylan Hunter. Dylan's father was
known for having babies by different women along with some other family members.
So the joke was that you could just get pregnant by being around a Hunter. But
Dylan hadn't wanted any kids and had been too busy trying to turn the family
farm into something that was a money maker but that looks like that will
take a few years. It looks like he needs
a prime piece of real estate that Emma is bidding on… well, see, Emma wants the
same land but she wants something more – a baby. And she wants Dylan to be the
baby’s father. She has heard the same rumors about how potent the Hunter men
are and she is willing to back away from what she needs and let Dylan have a
certain piece of something to make his dreams come true if he will make her
dream, her true dream come true. This is the unique and complex story of how
Emma and Dylan came together. This is a
super short book, and I will say because of this, at times I felt it was
hard to get connected with the story. I also felt like the story was slow in
places and I felt like could have been a bit better explained in others but
overall was a good story. I liked the premise of the story, just wished it didn’t
feel so rushed at the end. I like Emma-she was spunky and she was sassy while
Dylan was a family orientated man who was sexy and at times heartwarming. I
look forward to reading Dylan’s brothers stories- especially Rafe and I
do hope Tristan gets his own book.
