RELEASE BLITZ
EL DIABLO
RELEASE DATE: AUGUST 30TH, 2016
I was ruthless.
I was feared.
I had sacrificed. Myself. Her. Everything...
Living in a world where I was worth more dead than alive was
a choice. I was a bad man, never claimed to be anything else. I’ve done things
I’m not proud of. Seen things that can’t be unseen. I’ve caused pain that I
can’t undo.
It was all my choice.
Every decision.
Every order.
Right and wrong never mattered.
Until her.
She was under my protection, until she became my obsession.
But who was going to save her...
From. Me. The devil himself.
Fate brought us together. Destiny destroyed us.
“Go stretch again, cariƱo,” I ordered in a dominant tone. Nodding to the barre.
“I’m fine,” she stubbornly replied. Shaking her legs and arms out. Getting back into position, looking at me through the mirror.
I cocked my head to the side, arching an eyebrow. She narrowed her eyes at me, but begrudgingly listened. I pressed play, allowing the melody to once again take over. She placed her leg on the lowest barre, making her ass stick out in my direction.
Tempting me.
She closed her eyes, needing to get lost in the music, wanting to push away all the negative thoughts, already feeling discouraged. I stood, taking off my suit jacket. Rolling up the sleeves of my collared shirt as I stepped onto the hardwood floor. I slowly came up behind her, catching her off guard.
She froze, turning around, opening her eyes. Peering up at me through her lashes. “What are you doing?”
I leaned forward against her ear, grinning. “I’m helping you stretch.” Getting down on my knees in front of her.
Her eyes dilated. The feeling of disappointment replaced with nothing but lust. She placed her arms out to the side, resting up against the barre, supporting her weight. I grabbed her ankle, lifting it up in the air, rubbing along her leg as it was fully stretched, before setting it on the lowest barre. Running my other hand up her side, easing her over toward the extended leg. She understood what I was doing, reaching for her ankle, stretching. Standing back up, bringing her arms above her head, I caressed along her leg again, casually turning her torso so her leg was still placed on the barre behind her.
Her breathing hitched as I touched her all over her lower body. My lips softly kissing the inside of her thigh to where she wanted my mouth the most.

My Review:
My Review:
OMG where do I start? El Diablo is an epic read that will seduce you, entice you
with its darkness and its pain because you will still read every page and want
more. Why you ask? For the devil. Alejandro Eduardo Martinez who
can turn one look on you and you would gladly drop your drawers and say “Yes
Sir”. My heart bled for him, for all the
pain, blood, sweat and tears in his life. He really never had that childhood,
his was seeped in betrayal , blood and death. When he was an adult, he was
already a feared man. All feared him- just his name made all shudder. People
rushed to do his bidding all because of who he was and what could do. Suddenly there was one person, one woman who didn’t
bow to him or rush to do his bidding. She stood up and she brought light to his
darkness. She captivated him, she is forbidden to him yet he wants her with
every breath in his body and would do anything for her and to do which makes
her his weakness, his one thing if his enemies found out, that could be what
causes him to lose it all. Who is the woman? Why she is Lexi-she is young,
innocent, a survivor and tries to do what she can to prove her loyalty. Oh she
is rebuffed time and time again yet that push/pull is in effect. Lexi is poetry
in motion when she dances as a ballerina. Being under Alejandro’s protection,
knowing him as she is trying, that attraction is there. It is poetry to watch
the seduction dance between them and all the angst, the passion bubbling
up. She is in love with him but Alejandro
Martinez doesn't do hearts and flowers, he brings pain and danger to all
around him. Will they be able to make it? Will Lexi want to still be with Alejandro
?
There is so much intense
emotions that play out. I was in tears and in anger during the reading of this
story. Darn You M. Robinson for writing such an emotional read. You kept me up
reading this book. It is so good, so intense. There were times that I despair
that Lexi and Alejandro would ever get together because the road paved to love
and happiness is paved in death and destruction and betrayal. Oh yes it was and
boy did I get some pulse pounding moments. Alejandro is such a dark and
delicious alpha male who does things his way and no other. He protects even at
the risk of pain to himself and the others he loves because it’s the only way
he can see an outcome working while Lexi is so innocent yet there is some
broken pieces inside of her that only Alejandro can fix. Her past was full of
pain and even with that, she still holds light and hope in her heart which is
what I love about her. This story is a standalone in the Good ole Boys series.
There are appearances from past characters from that series and which was great
to see them but the stars in this book are the MC. All I can say is, you have
to purchase this story and read it.
My rating: 4.9 stars ****
