ARC Review of Furious Rush by S.C. Stephens

Wow. I really enjoyed this new romance book by S.C. Stephens which is set on the racing world. You have the heroine, Mackenzie Cox , who tries to prove herself to her family especially her father that she has what it takes to carry on the family tradition of racing. Then we have the hero, Hayden, who is this badboy street racer that Mackenzie runs into and he has joined the enemy’s team. Thing is, they have instant chemistry but Mac is afraid to act on it. Then he joins the enemy’s racing team. Which puts him on her dad and family’s bad side. Now Mac has to choose a side, her family or the man she is in love/lust with. Who wins?

I felt so bad for Mackenzie. She kept trying to keep everyone appeased and make all happy but no one was happy. Hayden wanted her , all of her yet here she is , giving only pieces of herself, then we have her dad demanding she quit seeing Hayden or else. There is this feud with the enemy team but there is no reason given. Oh my gawd, so many mysteries so little time. Then the questions left about her dad and sister and other players in the story. I loved the chemistry and romance between Hayden and Mac, and then way they fought for each other. I hope there is a book 2 for I definitely would read it. The author did a great job of keeping me entertained and interested in the characters and their lives from beginning to end and also wanting another book to find out where these characters are now.
