Wow! This is such an
emotional page turner in the Soul trilogy . Refrain is the last book in this
series and wow it does pack a punch. Be prepared for emotional, intense,
angsty, erotic, angry, fearful, and loving. This book continues Kai and Rhyson’s story in a true Music fashion.
We have the truly High Highs and the lowest lows. Rhyson and Kai are trying to get thru their lives,
trying to figure out a life in the spotlight together while
keeping together their core love and devotion for one another. As a couple,
they had a lot of things thrown at them and it was wonderful to see them, as a
couple, handle it like they had been doing it all their lives, like pros, and
handle it together. The flow in this
story moves like water, seamlessly –there is just this great push and I love
how everything goes with the flow. There is no stops, all continues and I love
it . What I found interesting is the secondary characters (Grip & Bristol)
also having something going on, which means their own book is on the horizon. I
loved there much a lot going on yet it all fit together.
The ending had me on the end
of my seat, made me so glad to see Rhys & Kai' love of a lifetime.
There were moments that I cried, moments that I raged at my kindle and moments
that I “ahhh” and when Rhys & Kai's story ended, well, there were
tears of sadness because I truly never wanted to say goodbye. This was such a
lovely goodbye story and one that I am glad that was written. It gives us fans
a true send off for my/our favorite couple “Rhys & Kai”.
