My Review:
This is book 3 in the War
and Peace series and Omg what a doozy it is. This book is about the villain from
books 1 &2 Gabe, and it deals with him. We get to see his past , his early
years and then we are taken to real-time where he sees his daughter growing up
and how he longs to be the one raising her. How he longs to have contact with
her.
One night on a beach
changes everything for the rest of their lives. Gabe shows his sane side in a
story that is rife with insanity and angst. Its like what was true was never
true. Revelations are made and things are said. I am sorry to be so vague but I
would be giving spoilers away. Just let me say, Gabe comes off as the sane one
in this relationship, he is the knight to his lady’s insanity- she is the crazy
one in their relationship. She is who he was in book 1 & 2 while he is the
calm and sane one here. What a change and we see why he is who he is. I couldn’t
stop reading this book even during the darkest moments; oh and the sex? It was
hot and the sexual tension was rife and intense. There are several mini stories
going on and the ending was left on a epic cliffhanger. I cannot wait for the
next book in this series.
My rating: 4.5 stars ****
