IN TOO DEEP by J. Kenner is
book 10 in the Man of the Month series. This is the story of Matthew and Hannah.
Each book in this series is a standalone. Hannah is a lawyer and good friends
with Easton from book 9. Hannah needs the money her dad left her in
his will to get the start up funds to start up a new law practice since
her funds to start this new practice are tied up in her retirement and
she cant cash it in. This is where Matthew comes in. In order for her to get
her hands on the funds, she has to prove she is settled down so Matthew is
needed to play the part of her fake fiancée. Only thing is, Matthew has always
had the hots for Hannah. Can this fake fiancée thing go off without a hitch or
will these two find themselves in a real relationship? I liked this couple well
and the story didn’t drag on which was good. I enjoyed the chemistry between
them and the plot was fresh. I look forward to the next book in this series.
