His Rebel #1:--This is an enemy to lovers/enemies to insta-lovers trope. This is the first book in the new series Rebels. Insurgent Number One, Sylvia and Brad, Regime Loyalist, are enemies and fall in love quite literally at first sight. Things start when Sylvia punches Brad on live TV news feed which knocks him down and when he has the chance to stop her, he instead lets go. The romance is a fast romance read. You know right away it’s a set in the dystopian future. There is such a lot of hot goodness in this read and there is a steamy HEA. It is written in AR style which means the romance is more insta-dirty love story AR style than Sci FI. It is a wonderful start to a new series.
Her Rebel #2:-- Back to the dystopian world that Alexa Riley started in the Rebels series. Minnie and Owen were destined to be together from childhood. Sadly they ended up being separated by their own destinies as adults -- Minnie as a nurse and Owen as the one who created the resistance and become their leader. This is their 2nd chance at love romance and the steamy and action packed way they found their way back to each other. I have to say, Owen truly captured my heart with the way he went about winning Minnie’s heart. This is another quick read and the romance is on the front in the story. AR does what she does best and that is the sizzling love story and the chemistry between the main characters. I cant wait to read more in the AR dystopian world.
Secret Rebel #3---This is the 3rd and final book in the AR Rebels series. It’s Ryan and Naomi aka The Librarians book. OMG what a sexy and naughty story by Alexa Riley. Ryan’s a naughty bit of goods-he is all sort of naughty and I liked that about him. Ryan is a top news reporter for the state run paper, but he knows more is going on than what people are being led to believe. Naomi aka The Librarian feels so bad for the children beyond the wall and does what she can to help them. Naomi had been tagged to marry Brad, but he 'died'. Ryan was supposed to marry Minnie, but their wedding was bombed. These two characters end up together and the way they come together is amazing. I feel they suited each other more than if they had been left with their previous partners. Get ready for an epic ending AR Style with tons of sizzling heat, and passion. Ryan and Naomi bring the hope and the hotness to this dystopian story from the writing duo Alexa Riley.
