About the Author
Krystal is a proud Canadian girl, hailing from Sherwood Park, Alberta. She has a strong dislike for the winter, and a love spring. Married to her husband Steve, for 13 years, they have 4 beautiful red headed spawns ranging in ages 5-12. She has a strong love of coffee, sarcasm, and wine. (Not necessarily in that order either.)
Krystal loves to write about instalove between couples looking for love. She has a passion for contemporary romance and springs into menage as often as she can. Currently, she is working on 2 new series, the Adair Empire a darker, dirtier, and grittier series than what her readers are used to, but boy has she had a ton of fun writing them. The What Happens When series will begin with Anonymous Bride series will begin with Anonymous Bride and continue with untraditional love stories. Bringing you all the good feels, a ton of love, and maybe - if you're lucky ;) a surprise baby or two!

KL Donn writes these
insanely addictive stories, and I find that I can’t get enough of the series. Carver is
one of them. It is one of the darkest in the Adair Empire books. Carver is a
dark and twisted romance read. Carver and Meadow’s love story is one for the
romance record books. When Carver saw Meadow, he knew she was the one but would
she feel the same? Meadow’s world is torn apart by Lilith when she learns her
step father had a family he abandoned prior to her and her mother. Meadow
had a good life so it was harder to accept right away. All she wants is to go
to law school and bring justice to those who need it most. But because
she now associates with the Adair Empire which has made her a
target for those who have it out for anyone associated with Adair Empire and
now that means Meadow. Only Carver and the rest of the Empire can rescue her
and make sure to eliminate the threat. Will this draw Meadow into Carver’s
life or pull her further away ? There is so many things about this books I want
to say but I fear it would give spoilers away. What I will tell you this is
darker than any of the other books in this series and Carver: Past Lies cannot
be read as a standalone. There is a lot of angst, tension,
connection/chemistry between Carver and Meadow. Meadow felt like a fish out of
water when it came to herself vs the other Adair mates. At first she didn’t think
Carver was meant for her, especially due to his violent side yet she knew she
needed that violent side to save her and she came to realize Carver was
everything she needed and then some. Meadow and Carver have a beautiful and
intense love story. The love is intense, dark, beautiful and epic. Ms. Donn has
a killer series on her hands which keeps continuing to hit the mark from book
to book. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series which I understand
to be “Grasping For Air”.
