ARC Review of Taking Summer: A Fake Fiance Romance by Emily Bishop

Taking Summer: A Fake Fiance RomanceTaking Summer: A Fake Fiance Romance by Emily Bishop
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In this book we meet Summer and James. Summer is a journalist looking for her big break with a story on ethical farming and then we have James who is a reclusive farmer looking to stay away from the media attention he received because he is a corporate lawyer. James is looking for a different life and he doesn't all the drama from his past life coming back to screw it up for him. On top of everything, James has ex troubles. He meets Summer and in order to get the story she needs, she agrees to join James in a month long fake engagement. They complete their fake engagement with non-disclosure agreement and everything. What starts off as a business agreement heats up due to the intense chemistry that flares between Summer and James. I found myself drawn further and further into the story. I loved the sizzle and pop between the characters, loved the drama and angst, and the witty humor was great. This is a great summer read.
