WOW!! This story is full of intrigue, heat, angst and feels! This is Thorne and Rose's story and what a story it is. They had this immediate connection/chemistry. Rose and her grandmother have been hiding from danger for a long time. Rose saw something quite horrific and fears that one day the people responsible for that act will find her. Her sweet grandmother left behind everything to protect Rose. Thorne is ex-military who now works for a company who contracts him to hunt people down and eliminate them. He was assigned a task to keep an eye on Rose and to let his boss know whatever Rose is up to. As Thorne is doing the job assigned to him, he finds himself very attracted to Rose. Thorne doesn’t realize that Rose is now aware she is now in danger and being stalked. Finally Thorne and Rose end up meeting; Thorne is determined to claim Rose by the time they end up meeting and the chemistry between them is electric. I loved how possessive and gentle Thorne was about Rose. Their love story was an emotional roller coaster ride , full of angst, action, intrigue, suspense, danger, passion and love. I enjoyed the flow of the story and the HEA ending.
