***** MY REVIEW ******
This is a beautiful and
unique romance with remarkable characters. Milo Vega has been through a
lot the past couple years in his personal life. Going in the system along with
his younger brothers into foster care wasn’t easy but they made it. Now after 3
years he is about to graduate high school, Milo finally feels like he can tread
water and not feel like he is about to drown. Milo has plans in place to adopt
his younger siblings after graduation so things are looking up for the
Vega brothers. But things gets super complicated when a new foster girl enters
Milo’s life. Mercy is very unique, a very special girl for her life has
been at times a blessing and also a curse. Now Mercy is in foster care dealing
with some memory loss. All Mercy cares about is wanting to be a normal teenager
and trying to fit in. That is going to be extremely hard—due to how she looks
and some other issues that she has. Soon
Mercy is going to realize her being in foster care and being in the foster home
she is at is the best thing that could have happened to her. Milo and Mercy had
this explosive chemistry that lit up the pages. Their story is enchanting, enthralling,
intense, beautiful and at times heartbreaking. I don’t want to give anything
about Mercy and Milo’s romance away so suffice to say, this is a book that you
need to read, all the heartwarming, beautiful, passionate moments will call to
you and call out for you.
