This is one of my favorites by Alexa Riley- it has an older overly protective alpha male and a sweet, innocent young heroine. Just the right combo for this older man/younger woman trope. What heat and sizzling chemistry between the H/h in this read. Mila has been modeling since she was 5 years old. Now she is on her own and has to handle everything since her mom is off doing her thing. Mila is always working, never has time to enjoy life; She doesn't get much time to eat or even sleep. Something has happened which now requires her to have a new bodyguard-one who covers her 24/7. Jax has been hired to be the bodyguard to Mila. He is a man who hasn’t had an easy life and is retired from the FBI due to injuries he received. He is doing this as a favor, the bodyguard gig. Yet the moment he meets Mila, he knows she is his. He sees immediately no one has been taking care of her- he sees things that make him sit up and decide he will be the one taking care of her-forever. He will make sure no one ever hurts her . Mila immediately feels this instant chemistry with Jax but doesn’t know what to make of it. Their relationship is red hot and full of heat. I loved the storyline and how Jax doesn’t let anything get near his woman. He is the perfect man- awesome alpha bodyguard. Mila is just right for Jax for she is the right woman to heal his wounds- inside and outside. This is one hot, super sweet, and steamy hot romance that hooks you from the start. Does Jax figure out who is out to hurt Mila? Who is the stalker? Will they get their HEA? Oh trust me, this is one amazing AR story that is a certified keeper!!!!
