About the Author

CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn't pick up she's at the well hauling buckets. Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master's degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels. She's frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn't ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood. If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.

White Knight is a story that is phenomenal- author CD Reiss weaves a masterful tale with intrigue, passion and drama. Catherine and Chris meet one summer and fall in love. She comes from a wealthy family and plays tennis at the country club while he comes from the wrong side of the tracks and tends the hedges. They fell in love and everything was going great until they were pulled apart by circumstance and kept apart by a series of misunderstandings. Over 10 years later their lives bring them together again. This time Chris is super wealthy while Catherine is still living in their small town, selling off her family's possessions for money. Now that Chris has hit it big, he is going back to the town where he first found love and lost it. When he gets there, he sees his 1^st love is still there. This is where the story really picks up. The story is told by going present to past, past to present. We see how Catherine, who once had it all in her teen years, has fallen , having to sell her family possessions to make money in order to live. When she finds out her lost love is back, what will she do? I mean, he promised to come back for her and never did. This story has tons of angst, anger, young love, lost love, hopelessness, passion, emotional journeys, and above all, true love. Will these star crossed lovers get their chance to finally get their chance at love again? This was one of my favorite 2^nd chance love stories!! I cant wait to read the next story in this series.
