ARC Review of Lumberjack Love by J.L. Beck

Lumberjack Love by [Beck, J.L.]

Jackson is a loner, a tough lumberjack who finds being alone to his liking which is why he lives alone in the woods …until a sassy and scared miss named Lola comes walking out of nowhere and disrupts his life.  Lola is sassy and is looking for help and here she comes across Jackson—chemistry starts from the first words out of each other’s mouth.  Lola is trying to get away from her ex boyfriend who deliberately left her and drove off. She is scared of him, for he is dangerous. At first Jackson wants no part of whats going on but suddenly he decides to relent and help…these are two people brought together by fate and when that happens, they fight it. That’s ok, you will read how these lovers come together and wow what emotion and heat comes forth. There is some danger that shows up in the book, and also there is some hot sex scenes. There is something different about this hero-something beautiful. I really enjoyed finding that out about Jackson and how Lola embraced that about him. Their love was awesome and I loved this story. The ending was fantastic. I love these books that J.L. Beck writes- each different but all with a great message to them. I cannot wait to see what she has next.

My rating: 4.8 stars ****
