What a fantastic story of first love which ends up being a love that is never ending. The hero is one alpha male who, when he meets his heroine, its love at first sight.

Eli is an injured and scarred Marine whose training officer that he kept in touch with offered him a place to stay and rehab. When he got there, he met his training officer’s daughter Maggie and that was it-he fell in love immediately and the pull towards her was immediate. Problem is she is 16 years old while he is older than her (25 yrs old)…and her dad is his friend and a boss figure.  Maggie is attracted to him as well…they both are in love with each other and Eli is trying to do the right thing so he makes the decision to leave until she is legal..and the decision causes ripples for the future between Maggie and Eli. Will she ever forgive his leaving? Will they ever be able to have a future or will Maggie move on due to the broken heart he left her with.

This is a beautiful and sweet romance story that is definitely filled with heat, angst, passion and love. Eli and Maggie make a beautiful couple –Their road to happiness is paved with bumps—I loved reading how they came to their HEA.
