MY REVIEW:

The highly thrilling conclusion to Crown of Lies from Bestselling author Pepper Winters. In book 1 it left us on a huge epic cliffhanger and now in book 2, It picks up where it left off.

My heart breaks all over again for our heroine Elle- she has been lied to , deceived, betrayed yet thru it all, she continues to stand strong. We get the conclusion of  Pen and Elle's story in book 2 .

In this book, we do not get the answers right away. It is slow coming but its like eating a delicious piece of cake, savoring it one bite at a time which is what is happening in this book –one bite at a time is how this story goes.   Penn and Elle have much to overcome. In this book, it is filled with angst, pain, betrayal, anger…but we also have love, passion, joy , forgiveness and truth.

Throne of Truth is told from a dual POV and there is suspense and also it is a second chance love story built in. It also really is a dark romance as well.  Elle is dealing with the all of what happens from the truths that Penn laid on her. I cannot tell you more than that or it would give most of the story away. What I can tell you is Throne of Truth gives us the full story of Penn.  Elle’s eyes are finally open as to who Penn is and what has all happened in her life and why and she finally sees the real man that's both broken her and freed her for who he truly is...and what he really means to her. Penn and Elle had this electric chemistry together. Oh there was still angst but the chemistry made them come together and heat up the book. I found myself on the edge of my seat multiple times. There were twists and turns and the ending was mind blowing…I loved this book and the series. I found this to be one of the best by this author and she is a definite auto buy—if she wasn’t already, this series would make her one for me now.
