This is book 2 in the Forever
Collection series. This is Alistair and Leah's story—we met them in May and
Decker story in book 1. In book 1, Alistair rescued Leah from the dungeon
she was being held in and brought her to safety. Alistair is a strong man, a kind and
fair man who is just want Leah needs after all she has been thru. Leah
is a shy girl with braces on her legs from an accident years ago and she was made to feel
less than because of it. Ever since his rescue of Leah, Alistair has
wanted Leah but has been leary to say
anything for fear of rocking the boat. Alistair finally gets the courage
to speak up but there is someone waiting
to cut the lovers happiness short. Will Leah give Alistair a chance to prove
his love and give herself a chance to be happy, give them a chance to be happy?
Leah is a shy woman, one who fears being happy after all she has been thru but
she is a fighter. Their love story is filled with ups and downs yet it is one
that is so beautiful and heartwarming. I adored the epilogue of this story . I
hope there is more books in the Forever series. Would also love to know how the
sisters are doing down the road-did feel like the epilogue was sort of short.
