Ella King is the British author of the hilarious and sexy
novella The Intern. She lives in the North West of England where pale skin is a
plenty and sunshine is a rarity. When not writing or plotting future books she
is glued to her kindle trying to keep up with her overflowing TBR. Her other

far more chocolate than any one person should ever consume. Oh and she’s a
typical British tea drinker, and no she doesn’t do bone china, in her case the
bigger the mug the better!

***** MY REVIEW****
The Intern by Ella King is
the story of Alexa Gold and Carter Cole. Carter is a spoiled
rich young man whose father is fed up with him acting like a lazy good
for nothing spoiled rich boy and decides to help him grow up. See his father
helped him get into Oxford but as soon as he got his trust fund, he quit and
started man whoring around. Carter does nothing productive so now his father is
forcing him to do something with his life or run the risk of losing his funds,
in fact lose everything for good if he cant get himself straight and become a
son he can be proud of. So Carter’s dad gets him a job at RGC Advertising
where he will be working as an intern for Alexa Gold. Well Carter doesn’t
like Alexa and it sets up this hate to love story between them. But the story
also shows how a young man grows up and learns to take responsibility. Alexa is an older woman (not too old) who doesn’t
like Carter at first either. She thinks he is spoiled and pampered yet as they
work together she first noticed how attractive he is but she isn’t going to
pursue anything. As I always say, never say never. This is a story of two
people who find love when they least expect it. Alexa never was expecting it as
she has some personal problems in her life and Carter was never looking to
settle down. There are some twists to this story but overall it is a good read.
