Brittany Crowley was born and raised in Massachusetts. She still lives there today with her husband and 3 kids. Getting into the world of romance after she had her first child, she was hooked. Reckless is the 4th book in
the Bound by the Cage series and it can be read as a standalone. Let me
say the Cage men are so alpha, so dominant, so intense-I love these hunk of
males and this story is about Kyle .
This was a second chance love
story which had snippets into their past intertwined into the
story. Their past will break your heart as it did mine. Kyle Cage is the
“ baby” of the family and yet he has spent the last 4 years in the arms of fame and every woman he
could find. He headed home for a visit and a imposed break after a huge bit of
bad publicity. He comes off at first as this total jerk, this nasty bit o’ goods that has nothing
redeemable about him but I think I seem some glimmer of hope… Sophie is a
character that I found myself just in love with from the get go. She is
interesting and totally with depth. In previous books she was mentioned as a
close friend to Kyle so I knew this had to be a best friend romance and I was
excited to read Kyle and Sophie’s romance. From the previous books to this one,
how little did I realize this would be so different- this book is so emotional
, so thought provoking. At times heartbreaking and heartwarming, and
full of scorching passion. Kyle and Sophie’s love story is so much more
than just friends to lovers. It is a 2nd chance romance, friends to
lovers and secret baby story. There is things about Kyle that come to light just as there are things
about Sophie that we learn and we root for her in this story. There are some
nasty villains in here and how I wanted to really see them get their due . Will
Sophie give Kyle a chance, a 3rd chance to make things right and
will Kyle show everyone that he is worthy of a chance to make everything right?
