This book was so freaking intense- its raw and emotional. Just the way I love my romance reads!! Peep Show is a standalone by Isabella Starling. This is the story of two broken souls who find their way to one another and the way they do is unconventional and unique; raw and beautiful. Bebe is a IT girl with a huge trust fund who is on a downward spiral after losing her friend and is using drugs/meaningless sex to numb the pain. One night she sees something in her neighbor’s apartment that captures her attention and makes her riveted to his apartment. Its steamy, sensual and hot…one leaving her wanting, craving her neighbor. Miles is a photographer and never leaves his apartment due to issues from his past that haunts him to this day. I don’t want to give too much away because saying too much will give away about this book and this is a book that needs to be experienced, savored. There is so much depth, flavor to this story than I had expected – it is emotional, raw, gripping, and heartfelt. I will say there are some questionable situations which may be triggers.. not all may be scenes for everyone but I have to say, this was a complex and again, beautiful story and is worth a read. I found this to be a well written story by Ms. Starling and with my levels pushed and exceeded, I really enjoyed myself. I look forward to reading what comes next by this author.
