This book is SUPER emotional- like you will need many many boxes of tissues just to get thru the reading of such a beautiful and heartbreaking story. When I was finished reading, I just had such a huge book hangover yet I wanted to dive right back into the story again. That is a testament to how epic Crystal ‘s love story is… Don’t Be Afraid is the story of the true love that Sawyer and Patrick's love story…their love was one that gutted me. Sawyer is this sassy, sweet, independent woman who just wanted everything to be ok and yet you knew it wasn’t going to be. Patrick did everything he could to make sure Sawyer would be taken care of…and he asked his best friend Gage to watch out for his true love Sawyer. This story had me in utter tears so many times. There isn’t any way that I can say you wont not cry for you will but this story has love, so much love… I just read and read because I couldn’t get enough. Did I put the book down and come back to it…a few times because the emotions were too raw and utterly too deep but that is the mark of a great author who writes a beautifully raw and soulfully deep masterpiece of a story..which is what is written here. I want to give more about the story but it would give away the best parts to this book and this is a story that you need to read, to experience…for this book will leave you speechless & shocked. CA Harms has done it again, she has written one of the best books of 2018. This is a book that will stay with me . I look forward to seeing what she writes next.
