THE ROAD TO YOU: Is a full length, standalone contemporary romance novel by Melissa Toppen. This book will need tissues and tons of chocolate- Because just saying this book pulled at my heart isn't enough. When reading this story, I was transported into the characters’ world and felt their love, guilt, grief, and happiness as though it were my own.  Kam, Kane and Elara's story is so raw, passionate, and at times, heartbreaking. The author writes a story full of love,  heartbreak, pain, grief, loss ,guilt, hope, forgiveness  and 2^nd chances. Here is a beautiful story about a woman and how she loves two different men. The difficult choices she had to make after tragedy hits ; Elara doesn’t handle things well yet in this story we are shown the path she took and who was there for her. This is a definate keeper of a romance read. This is told in a dual POV and wow, even though Kam and Kane are quite different men, their love for Elara is so true and bright. It isn’t the easiest read but it is one that will stay with you long after the story is over. It is just that good and satisfying , one that I would recommend to any reader looking for a 2^nd chance romance read or a love after tragedy read. It is food for the romance soul.
