HOLD ON TIGHT by J. Kenner is
book Two in the "Man of the Moth" series. This is the
story of Spencer and Brooke. This is a standalone book. They were to be
married 5 years before but she left before they could be married. This has put
Spencer off to trusting all women after their breakup. 5 years later has
Spencer who has become a TV icon and he is a remodeling show
host. He has one last show before he is done with his contract. The
catch …he must co-host /work together on a show with his ex-girlfriend Brooke .
There is a back story as to
why she left him and she did it for good reasons but Spencer doesn’t know this, all he can think of is
when he finds out he has to co-host a show with his ex, he wants his revenge;
You know, it’s the ole “She broke my heart, now I’m going to break her”
routine but that’s until he actually sees her again and then Spencer has a hard
time keeping revenge in his head. Its weird , he goes hot and cold..its a
push/pull with him. He loves her, then he hates her. This is such a raw and
angsty romance read and one of the shorter stories by Ms. Kenner. Spencer and
Brooke's story is one you cannot stop reading. It has it all-
intrigue, manipulation, passion, desire, angst
and above all, LOVE. This second chance romance was so passionate, very sweet
and incredibly sexy and hot! I know I can’t wait for Mr. March!
