Max Horton
They call me an outcast like it's a bad thing.
An asshole byproduct of a shitty upbringing. I don't care about anything except myself and my little sister.
I will always protect what’s mine.
With one year left on my hockey contract I'm keeping my head down and my eyes on the goal.
A collision, with her, changes my entire existence.
Allison Grant
Never fall in love with a sports star. That's what my stepfather always said. He told me athletes are complicated and moody—that the higher their paycheck, the lower their morals.
As public relations for the New York Stingers I know exactly what he means, but I can’t seem to say no to a friendship with one beautiful, damaged man.
What started out as hate turned into something else.
We tried to stay away, to keep our distance, but the pull was too strong.
Something forbidden turned into something so irresistible.
When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...

*******MY REVIEW*****
Something So Irresistible
was simply wonderful…amazing!! I have read the previous books in the series Something
So Right and Something So Perfect and I loved those books—I have to
say Something So Irresistible is just as good, if not better. I will say, you don’t have to read the first
two books to follow the story, but there are intertwined characters that you
will come to know and adore.
Max and Allison have a
love/hate relationship at the start of the book. There are things that
happened between Max and her family in the past that I do not want to go
into, for its best to read about it in the story but its hard for me to see Max
and Allison as enemies really. At first Max came off as sort of cold and aloof.
He carried this huge chip on his shoulder and that made him hard to relate to
at first but as the story progressed, we got to see the real Max as he slowly
let more of himself come out from that hard shell. The initial interactions between Max and
Allison were rocky at first but once they both let their guard down it’s
easy to see why they’re intrigued with one another. Allison is a
sassy and sweet woman who is so full of life. She is one for keeping Max on the
edge of his seat. Max is kind and considerate when it comes only to Allison.
That only drive each other nuts and in the progress of doing this, they slowly
become friends and the chemistry builds. It builds and as it builds, it drives
me insane because I crave results sooner and the process for them to get to
that point slowly builds but when it happens…BOOM.
The journey between Max and
Allison is an emotional, sexy, humorous, passionate, heart-melting,
intoxicating…it is so many things listed here and more. You will laugh,
you will cry, you will scream and you will smile at the antics that Max and
Allison get involved in. Natasha will pull you into this romance and you
do not want any of it to end. She has written a phenomenal love story that will
stay with you long after it ends. Max is definite swoon worthy book boyfriend
material.
