Title: Enticing Daphne Author: Jessica Prince Genre: Sassy Romantic Comedy
It’s easy to stop believing in happily ever afters when the man you thought you’d spend the rest of your life with abandons you right before your wedding day. After that disastrous event I decided that commitment was for suckers. I was young, successful, and in the prime of my life.
I didn’t need a man to make me happy.
Then an unexpected blast from the past came waltzing into my studio and decided I was a challenge he was more than willing to accept. The only problem is that he doesn’t remember he’s met me before.
He’s the ultimate playboy, determined to stop at nothing until he entices the hell out of me. But if Caleb McMannus thinks he can lure me in with his sinful looks and silver tongue, then he’s…probably right.

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all. Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says. In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand. Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

******MY REVIEW ******
Enticing Daphne is a super sweet, sexy and humorous read that had me smiling so hard while laughing while reading Daphne and Caleb's love story.
I fell in love with these ladies in SEDUCING LOLA and I was so happy to read Daphne fall in love and get her HEA. This is a standalone story , one that you can pick up and read from start to finish.
Daphne and Caleb's relationship starts off with instant chemistry when they first meet in a bar. Neither is looking for anything more than just that one night where names and phone numbers were not exchanged. When they run into each other later on a few months later, Daphne still hasn’t forgotten her hot guy but it appears as though he has forgotten her and that hot night that they had together and it appears he is a playboy of the worst kind. He shows up at her office and is a friend of Grayson Lockhart’s- owner of the radio station. Things have just got super awkward for what will she say to him , especially now that he has forgotten that one night? Oh things are just now about to get insanely wild between these two.
Caleb isn’t really a bad guy nor is he truly a playboy. Caleb never knew what a true loving relationship looked like. His parents are what dysfunctional look like and so he is determined to never fall in love or have relationships…until he meets Daphne. He doesn’t know what it is about her that makes him want to be different for her. Now Daphne has a truly messed up relationship with her mother and her mother is one horrible person. Daphne herself known true love or been in a loving relationship so she does what she wants and think she was happy but when she met Caleb, she came to realize he was her missing link but what happens when two people who end up meeting by chance then find their way back to each other? Oh the chemistry between them is sizzling and they discover it isn’t going to be so easy to walk away this time. I loved how Daphne was so sassy and sweet while Caleb is dominant, humorous yet there is this side to him that is somewhat tortured . Put these two together and they are magic together. Add in family drama, and also there is more Lola and Sophia and we get a little more Fiona in this book. This makes for one awesome book. I was sad when this book was over because I didn’t want to say goodbye to the ladies… and then I found out there is a new book coming out for Fiona. Her story is next and it is about her love interest Deacon, Caleb’s friend. All I can say is more romcom fun.
My Rating: 4.8 stars *****
