Misadventures with a Rookie by Toni Aleo is book 11 in the Misadventures series. This is the story of Gus “the Bus” Persson and Bo St. James. This is a standalone book in the series.  Gus ‘the Bus’ just got drafted to play for NHL team, The Tornadoes. Temporarily he has been playing for the Suns, a lower level team and that’s where he meets Bo, a PT student. At first, Gus and Bo acted like they hated each other. I mean they fought the first 25 % of the book then things seemed to change. Things go from hate to like to love. I love reading how Gus and Bo find their way to each other in this story and I like the sports romance which this is- hockey romance. Bo was a strong female character and even though she was fighting many demons from her past, its great to read how she meets her perfect match and fall in love with Gus.
