El and Kitty meet at a party for Ava and Ham's babies. When they meet , there is this instant, intense chemistry between them. When they go back to his place things get really hot, super-fast but then Kitty disappears and El doesn’t see her again for 2 months and its only by happenstance that he runs across Kitty. Kitty didn’t want to run out on El but the passion and heat that they shared scared her almost to death. She has a past full of pain and anything resembling closeness scares her. She thought she was doing the right thing but she was only hurting herself and the man she was falling in love with. Will this 2nd chance give El a chance to show Kitty how good things could be between them? Will Kitty open her heart and let her give love a chance? And what about that twist that has happened? What will El do about it? This is a fantastic new series by ChaShiree M and MK Moore. I loved the secondary characters introduced along with seeing old fan favorites from a previous series. El and Kitty are beautiful, honest, and real. They had me rooting for them all the way. The ending was soooooo epic. I cant wait for book 2 in the series.
