Kissed By Flames is book 3 in the Hidden Realms of Silver Lake series. Lily Harper does not like or trust any Dragons. Her reasoning—her last boyfriend who is now her ex-boyfriend was a dragon and he abused Lily. He ended up leaving her back scarred. Now she is on the run from her ex and needs protection from him. She ends up being protected by Birk who is a sexy Guardian and dragon shifter. Birk realizes that Lily just isn’t someone who needs protecting but is also his mate. Now all he has to do is convince her to give him a chance. Easier said than done. Beside Lily’s ex being a threat, Lily’s job puts her in harms way. Birk has to figure out what is going on and how to extract Lily from danger. Will Lily let Birk into her life and her heart or will her prejudices get in the way of her finding HEA?
This was a great PNR story full of danger, intrigue, passion, and love. Lily is so courageous, determined and strong. Birk is a good man--full of strength, strong and alpha tendencies. What a great story, fantastic scenes and awesome characters. I am eagerly awaiting book 4 in this series.
