The Baby Mission by Vivian Wood is an exciting and refreshing romance read. It’s the story of 2 people who are career driven who do not want a relationship, and she wants a baby while he doesn’t, he is just looking for just the hook up. Cady wants to have a baby before she isn’t able to and then she meets she meets Jett and finds herself attracted to him. On their 2nd meet up, she asked him if he would father her baby. She was thinking of doing it by artificial means but Jett wants to do it the old fashioned way. This is a sweet and funny romcom with some emotional moments that will have you reaching for tissues as the reader navigates thru the H/h emotional rollercoaster love story. Cady is this strong and independent lawyer who is trying to show she can do it all while Jett is former baseball player turned hotshot sports agent. They both are trying to have this non relationship but really during this time are falling for one another. I enjoyed the push/pull toward one another as they fight their feelings all while Jett is helping to get Cady pregnant. I liked Cady, she is spunky, sassy and really sweet. Oh and Jett is such an alpha male- full of attitude , possessive, dominant, kind. I really liked them as a couple and loved their relationship. The buildup toward them both realizing that they really were in a true relationship had its ups and downs but oh wow, what a way to get there. I loved the ending and the author did such a fantastic job. I look forward to reading more books like this from her.
