The End Zone by LJ Shen is a steamy best-friend to lovers romance novella. I loved the perfect blend of angst and sizzle. This was originally in the Team Player Anthology. What made this even more fabulous is the re-released novella with bonus epilogue and content. The newest version had an amazing extended epilogue that really enhances the novella and brings this sports story an added dazzle. It made me adore Ms. Shen more and remember why I loved this story in the Players Anthology. I loved the fresh material and the extended epilogue. Sage is the man with the game plan…he is so sexy and just too confident for his own good. I love a confident man and it takes a good woman to knock a man down to bring him to his full potential. Jolie is that woman, and the fact these two are BFFs ---well trust me, this story will make you look at best friends in a whole new light. Jolie is so sweet and she truly cares for Sage- this is a story that will hit you in the heart and have you rooting for Sage and Jolie from the start. I loved the ending and the epilogue, really adored it!! Even though this is a novella, it is definitely full of content and feels like a full length read. Good things do come to those in tight packages (smile) As an added bonus, we get an extended Vicious Epilogue. We get a glimpse of Emilia and Vicious 18 years after. #Winning
