I loved Conti and Crystal- they had so much go wrong yet they found each other again and the heat and steam is still there and stronger than ever. What made this more special was reading how Crystal, Vigo, and Maddison connect and bond. Crystal is one strong and spirited heroine in this book. I loved her kindness and her sassy side. Vigo-Oh my Lawd, he is such an alpha—sexy, alpha cop. He takes care of his younger sister who suffers from autism and he does it so well that he was perfect book boyfriend material. Reading the 2nd chance love story between Crystal and Vigo was amazing and S. Van Horn's ability to draw her readers into the story, hook them in and keep them until the last word on the last page is a gift. She truly wrote with a similar writing style as Aurora Rose Reynolds with this story in the ARR Kindle World Happily Ever Alpha and she brought the BOOM with her addition to Happily Ever Alpha. This was an fantastic read and I loved getting to see Kai !!!
