Synopsis
There are times when the Earth stops moving and the weight of its gravity pulls you down, deeper than you ever thought possible. You tumble farther than you ever imagined falling…
And when the sun goes black and your heart feels empty, starting over seems like an impossible feat…
You’re not alone.

********MY REVIEW***********
This Anthology deals with
some topics that can be tough but the stories are beautiful and
captivating in their own way. Some are so incredibility funny, some are so sad,
and then there some are also so hawt but these are all so well written ,
written with a deft hand and all funds raised go to a fantastic cause.
Waiting for
Autumn- by JA DeRouen This little
novella hit all the right spots especially when you have all the things
this story has -- childhood friends to lovers-- second chance romance
and sweet and hunky hero . These are all of my wants in a romance
and this story has it. I was sad this
was too short but the author does a good job of getting the story told. I hope
we get to see Autumn and Seb in possible future stories for this way an
awesome novella.
Falling- by
Stephanie Rose - Fans of Stephanie
Rose may recognize Jack Jr. from After You but he isn’t a child anymore , he is
all grown up and ready to fall in love. This story had me in tears and I had
tissues at the ready. This was such a beautiful romance , one that I adore.
There was the added touch of taboo in this novella, Danielle the little
sister of Jack's childhood friend.
Jack finds himself at crossroads and not sure what to do. Dani being in
his life gives him new hope but will he reach out or will he be doubt plagued ?
I am new to this author but reading this novella, I definitely want to go back
and read her other books, that is how awesome this story is. I hope this isn’t the
last we see of Jack and Dani.
The Pit – Mara White-- This
is one dark and gritty story that deals with the aftermath of 9/11. It was an
honest and all to real feeling. I had a hard time reading this story. It took
me back to when I actually lived thru the first days and how I felt. I could
very much relate and Ms. White has done what she set out to do with this story. I struggled with
reading this story, not because it was not a good story but because of the
emotions this novella evoked in me. It is very good and one everyone should
read.
All the stories in this
anthology are wonderful and are worth reading. These authors have such talent.
They brought the emotions and feelings to every story written. I had tissues
ready and by the end of the anthology, the box for the tissues was gone and I was
into box 2 of tissues. The authors who wrote for this did such a fantastic job
evoking emotions and feelings. I hope that you take away from this collection
the same thing I did; life is worth living and there is ALWAYS a second chance
to begin again.
My Rating: 4.8 stars *****
“I received an advanced
copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."
