V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her mama over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn't happen.

Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it.

When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.

********MY REVIEW*********

Brigadier's Game by V. F Mason is Book 4  in the "Bratva & Cosa Nostra" series. This is Victoria and Gleb’s story . Gleb is the  hot as all get “ alpha male”  whose past is filled with pain. Gleb is a man who didn’t let what happened in his past affect who he is today and he s extremely loyal to his brotherhood and many would characterize him as easygoing- all until Victoria came into the picture and then he was like a man with a short temper . As soon as he met Victoria, he knew she was meant to be his. His soul recognized his playboy days were over and he is , for now on, going to be a one woman man all because of Victoria.

Victoria doesn't dare let her past shape who she is now pretending to be , for she has secrets she is holding in deep nor is she able to let  the secrets she's been keeping from Gleb ruin their burgeoning relationship. As time goes on, she comes to realize, Gleb means the world to her and she doesn’t want to lose his love and his respect and soon those secrets and lies will out themselves and she is trying everything she can think of to prevent that. Gleb is her light in the darkness but who is trying to snuff her out, literally? What will happen when and I do mean when Gleb finds out all her secrets??  This story has so many betrayals, secrets, emotions/feels, huge revelations –it literally was a roller coaster ride from start to finish. Twists and Turns were happening while relationships were occurring… I loved every moment and hated when this story ended. V.F. Mason  wrote an awesome dark romance read that captivated me with her words, with the action , the intrigue and the suspense and of course the sexual tension and passion between the main characters. I loved their unique love story and of course, the ending. What a way to end a steamy, sizzling romance!!!
