One handywoman.
One single dad.
One set of twins.
And the wall isn’t the only thing being drilled…
I learned the hard way that being a handywoman isn’t easy. The questions, the stares—the assumption I’m the proud owner of a cock and balls. Not that it matters. I’ve proven over and over that I’m ready for anything the judgmental asses throw at me.
Except the hot, single dad of twins who just moved to town.
Brantley Cooper gets the shock of his life when I show up on his doorstep to fix up his kids’ new rooms. His son is confused why ‘the pretty lady has a drill,’ and his daughter has a new obsession—me.
On paper, my job is easy. Go in, do their bedrooms, and leave.
In theory, I’m spending eight hours a day with a guarded, sexy as hell guy, and I’m staying for dinner more often than I’m eating it alone, on my couch, with Friends re-runs.
I shouldn’t be staying for dinner. I shouldn’t be helping him out with the twins. I shouldn’t be falling in love with tiny toes and dimpled cheeks.
And I most definitely should not be kissing my client.

Miss Fix-It by Emma
Hart is a new story from her which is smoking hot. It is full of
humor, heart, sass, snark, heart-warming, and captivating
emotions. The story is about handywoman
and single dad with twins combo and I will admit at first I wasn’t sure
I could get into a plot like that but Ms. Hart definitely will get you hooked with
how she writes characters that come off as real and likeable and also has some
pretty awesome dialogue along with some steamy sexual attraction.
Kali is a handy
woman just like her dad before her in their small town. She is very much
in demand. She is in her mid 20s and wants to find mister right, not mister
right now but doesn’t know if she will ever meet him in their small town. KaIi meets single, sexy daddy, Brantley
Cooper when he hired her to fix things in the home he has purchased for
him and his young twins. She found herself very attracted to Brantley but didn’t
want to make any moves because he is her boss and he has hired her. There is a definite
chemistry between them but Brantley himself is getting over the death of his
wife and he is busy trying to get moved in, raise his young twins and get settled
into town… I loved how Kali didn’t know what she was doing when she found
herself taking time and showing his twins what she did and really relating to
them while internally asking herself why she even was. It was real questions a
woman who didn’t know if she even liked kids would ask herself. I enjoyed the
heartwarming humor and fun in this story. I also enjoyed how Kali and Brantley
danced around the sexual tension they both feel around each other. Brantley is a
take charge kind of man, has a good heart and is super dad while Kali
was so sarcastic, is a good daughter, is independent, is sassy and has a
good heart as well. They make a great couple and their love story was a feel
good one. I am all thumbs when it comes to fixing anything so to read a story
where the woman was the doer was great!!! I loved the secondary characters in
this story as well – this story had some twists/turns to it and the ending was
beautiful. I look forward to reading more from Ms. Hart.
